Slipping
Feeling my life slowly slipping away,
Grasping at the tattered remains of how things used to be.
Feeling my control slowly slipping away,
Physically, mentally, emotionally.
Feeling my time slowly slipping away,
How long before everything has changed?
Feeling my life slowly slipping away,
And wishing I knew how to get it back.
"I can save the world," he yelled
running through the towns;
tipping over market stalls,
pushing those who crossed his path.
"The only way to save us is
to leave us all alone!"
